Scholarship Requirements
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA or Higher
- Be enrolled or accepted into:
- Private School
- High School
- College
- Trade/Vocational Program
- Submit a completed scholarship application
- Submit school transcripts
- Submit a personal essay
- Demonstrate leadership and positive community involvement
Scholarship Essay Requirement
Essay Topic:
“Why Should I Receive The Man Up Foundation My Education Scholarship?”
Applicants must submit a 500–1,000 word essay covering the following 3 areas:
1. My Educational Goals & Vision
Students should explain:
- Their educational goals
- Desired school or career pathway
- Future career ambitions
- How education will impact their future
Focus Question:
“What is my vision for my future and how will education help me achieve it?”
2. Challenges I Have Overcome
Students should discuss:
- Personal hardships
- Family or financial struggles
- Obstacles faced academically or socially
- Lessons learned through adversity
Focus Question:
“How have life’s challenges shaped my determination and character?”
3. How I Plan to Give Back
Students should explain:
- How they plan to impact their community
- Leadership goals
- Ways they want to inspire others
- Their commitment to helping future generations

“How will I use my education to create change and help others?”

ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
DEVELOPING THE LEADER WITH IN YOU
The Leadership Development Program at The Hope Academy is designed to teach students the skills and qualities necessary to become effective leaders in their communities. Our program covers a range of topics, including communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and problem-solving, all of which are essential for successful leadership.
FISH TANK YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR COMPETITION
Concept Overview: Fish Tank is a youth-focused entrepreneurial competition modeled after the TV show Shark Tank. Young entrepreneurs will pitch innovative ideas and fully developed business plans to a panel of seasoned business professionals for a chance to win a cash prize and a partnership to bring their vision to life. Sponsored by The Man Up Foundation, this event aims to cultivate entrepreneurial skills, inspire creativity, and empower the next generation of leaders.
The Man Up Mentorship Program
Our foundation repair services include leveling, crack repair, and waterproofing. We use the latest technology and materials to ensure the foundation is structurally sound.
